It is grown on the Andean Plateau at altitudes ranging between 3800 and 4200 metres. It produces an ear which is filled with round seeds, which are similar to those of millet, and contains a considerable amount of starch, allowing it to be used as grain. Out of the 200 varieties of Quinoa found in nature, we have chosen Quinoa real. This is the most prized variety because it’s rich in saponin, a substance which is precious to the skin.
