The packaging process is meticulous and done in accordance with tradition: the tomatoes are inspected, one by one, to ensure that they have dried perfectly and are then pressed against one another to remove any air. The entire process works to ensure that the strong flavour of the dried tomatoes is preserved. Alce Nero dried tomatoes in olive oil are delicious as an aperitif and side dish, as well as for adding flavour to recipes or enhancing pasta sauces. ( 330 g) IMAGE 2 - Organic baby artichokes Alce Nero organic baby artichokes in olive oil are grown in Apulia and are harvested only when they have reached the right level of ripeness. After they’re harvested, the artichokes are cleaned and carefully inspected so as to choose only the tastiest and most tender hearts. The pasteurisation and packaging processes are carried out at low temperatures, so as not to alter the ingredients’ characteristics. Alce Nero baby artichokes are preserved in extra-virgin olive oil and seasoned with aromatic herbs. ( 330 g) IMAGE 3 - Organic Bella di Cerignola olives Alce Nero organic green olives are grown in Apulia. They’re harvested only when they have reached the right level of ripeness. After harvesting, the olives are carefully inspected so as to maintain a high standard of quality. These Bella di Cerignola olives are packaged whole, with their pits, and are excellent eaten au natural, or in appetisers and aperitifs. ( 350 g)
