IMAGE 1- Sunflower and Extra Virgin Olive Oil Blend of Sunflower oil and Extra Virgin Olive Oil BASSO BLEND of sunflower oil and extra virgin olive oil is the results of a recipe combining the positive features of sunflower oil – rich in fatty acids, Omega 6 and antioxidants such as vitamin E – and those of extra virgin olive oil. This way creating a perfect blend with a high content of oleic acid. This oil has a pale yellow color with green shades and a delicate taste of olives. BASSO blend of sunflower oil and extra virgin olive oil is suitable to delicately season fish or vegetable dishes without covering their flavor. It is also ideal for preserves. The addition of extra virgin olive oil makes this blend more stable, so it can be used for frying as well / IMAGE 2- Sunflower Oil and Pomace Oil Blend of Sunflower oil and Olive Pomace Oil BASSO blend of sunflower and olive pomace oils is a unique product designed to enrich the properties of a seed oil with those of an olive pomace oil in order to make it more suitable for cooking while preserving its nutritional characteristics. This blend is rich in antioxidants and polyunsaturated fatty acids typical of sunflower oil, and at the same time has a fairly good oleic acid content which improves cooking stability. The presence of wax from olive pomace oil makes it particularly suitable to give fragrance and lightness to bakery products, either sweet or savory. Our blend of sunflower and olive pomace oils has a pale yellow color with golden shades and a neutral taste. This product can be used on raw dishes without interfering with the flavor of seasoned food and it is also great to give fragrance and lightness when cooking in the oven.
