IMAGE 1- DOS CLAVELES In 1970, Toro Albalá Winery decided to revive a practically extinct species of carnation, the “reventón granaino”, considered the biggest, most elegant, red and perfumed variety of all the Dianthus species. Since then, thousands of cuttings have been grown in the winery every year and are given for free to anyone who asks. For greater protection, they are supplied in two pots, hence the name “Dos claveles”, meaning “two carnations”. Nowadays they are present in most Andalusian courtyards or “patios”. / IMAGE 2-FINO ELÉCTRICO EN RAMA Eléctrico is a classic wine that has formed part of the Andalusian way of life since 1922. In general, the approximate number of bottles is usually around 4000- 6000, each numbered per vintage. / IMAGE 14- CONVENTO SELECCIÓN Convento Selección comprises aged wines from various generations, which have been left to age in amontillado barrels for a specific ageing process, which allows wine and wood to blend, with spectacular results. Our bottling system is called Convento Selección (convent range) after the Cistercian monks’ serialisation system. All production is carried out by hand according to the Rule of Saint Benedict, “living off the work of human hands”. / IMAGE 15- PAIRING Electrico / IMAGE 16- PAIRING FINO ELECTRICO EN RAMA / IMAGE 17- PAIRING DOS CLAVELES 2017
